Winter Xtreme Permission Form
Winter Xtreme is the highlight of each winter, is held at Timberlee Christian Camp in East Troy, Wisconsin. Some of the winter activities include the toboggan chute, a tube hill, ice skating, cross country skiing, broom ball, horseback riding, a climbing wall and more. There are also fun indoor activities such as the game room, leather shop, and science center. There is always a great band and speaker at each camp to help the youth grow spiritually. Be sure to sign up early because the spots fill up quickly.

WinterXtreme is always fun for the middle school group! This year's band was "Daniel’s Window" and they got us hopping, jumping and singing to the Lord! The speaker was Doug Holliday and he showed great video clips that were both fun and meaningful. He spoke on reaching out to those in need—specifically talking about an orphanage in Haiti where his family is adopting two girls. It reminded us so much of the Shotton family and their adoption of their girls from Ethiopia.
We had a huge snowball fight and went non-stop on Saturday with the many activities: Creation Walk, leather shop, horseback riding and all of the many winter options. We also had great adult leadership that hung out with our youth both indoors and outdoors!

WinterXtreme was a very solid retreat this year. Our speaker was Oliver Hersey and he spoke alot about bringing the kingdom of heaven to earth now. Matthew 4:17 says Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. Oliver went on to explain that we are to be active in helping God to touch people’s lives here and now. Heaven isn’t just in a different time and place. There’s a touch of heaven on earth now through God’s people. It seemed to really hit home with our youth and I praise the Lord for that!
The times of worship were very significant. The band “The Ineloquent” led us in worship. It definitely felt like heaven on earth as we lifted up our voices and hands to the Lord! This high school group probably also set a record for the most times down the tube hills! We had a blast! We had great adult leadership that hung out with our youth indoors and outdoors.
