Passport Mix-up Doesn't Stop Youth Mission Trip Participant!
(June 2009) Praise God! Alyssa Chambers finally made it safely to Honduras to be with her dad, Pastor Chris Chambers, and the Youth Mission Team from FBC. FBC Provides School Shoes for the Children at the Honduras Children's Home
(June 2009) As the Middle School girls leader for the 24/7 Youth Program on Sunday nights, I have been very involved with the Honduras Children's Home, an FBC-sponsored international mission. I have visited the Children's Home in Azacualpa, Honduras twice: once with Dr. Paul Stines and the medical team as an interpreter, and then again with the FBC Youth in 2007. Read more...
4th/5th Grade Sunday School Class Project Brings Results in Africa!
(June 2009) Each year, our 4th/5th grade Sunday School class conducts a mission project under the supervision of their teacher, Dana Lamkin. In 2008, the class chose to support Ed Noyes, our missionary in the Democratic Republic of Congo, by purchasing much needed palm oil seed for planting. As a result of their efforts, the people in Africa were able to plant eleven acres with seeds our children purchased. This directly impacted sixty different families! Read more...
