Wednesday, August 11—Family Game Night 6:00–8:00 pm
Bring a snack/dessert to share and your some of your favorite games to play. Lemonade, water, and table service will be provided. FREE!
Sunday, August 29—Combined 10:45 am Worship and Potluck Picnic
Worship will focus on children and after worship we will enjoy a church family picnic. Bring a picnic lunch for your family or a dish to share. Also bring any picnic games like frisbee, croquet, etc. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for outside or stay indoors with tables and chairs provided. Lemonade, water, and table service will be provided. FREE!
United Marriage Encounter Weekend
The weekend combines Christian values, sound psychology, and a practical method to improve communication between husband and wife.

Discover First Baptist
Your Introduction to First Baptist Church at Savoy
This class is recommended for anyone interested in being a member of our congregation, but it is also open to those who are just interested in learning about First Baptist Church at Savoy. Discover First Baptist is a four-hour class providing a basic overview of who we are, what we believe, our vision for where we're going, and how you belong. The pastors will answer your questions, and get to know you a bit better at the same time. We'd love you to join us. Come learn about First Baptist Church—a family where everyone can worship, grow, and serve.

From 12 noon – 4:00 pm (Includes a complimentary lunch.)

2010 Opportunities to Worship, Grow and Serve
Tables will be set up in a featured location within the church to showcase the many opportunities we have at FBC to worship, grow, and serve this coming fall. Active FBC groups interested in reaching out to new participants, or sharing information about their group, can reserve tables with Jenny by contacting her at (217) 352-2240 or by email.

There is an opportunity to serve on the Sound & Media Team. Volunteers can assist in both running sound and the using the media computers for our Sunday worship. Recycle Your Old Electronics
24/7 Youth Ministries Fundraiser
We are collecting old electronics that you aren't using anymore in order to raise funds for future youth mission trips and events. Even with the economy the way it is, we want to still advance the youth ministry at FBC by helping youth go on these life changing trips!
If you have any of the following items that are now unuseable, would you please donate them so we could collect some money by recycling them?
