KidShine Drama Camp — June 7–11
Third through Eighth Grade Students
New to FBC this summer, this day camp is directed by an experienced KidShine team. The camp is 9 am to 3 pm from Monday through Friday, with a final performance which will blow your flip-flops off! The atmosphere is high-energy, interactive and FUN, with a focus on teamwork and mutual respect. Daily instruction and activities are related to the Biblical message of the musical production.

COST: $95/child through May 15 (after May 15: $110). Families with multiple children will receive a $5 discount on each additional child.
Maximum number of children: 50
If there are any openings the first day of class, cost per child: $120

Your Introduction to First Baptist Church at Savoy
Each quarter, Pastor Randy conducts a class about our church. This class is recommended for anyone interested in being a member of our congregation, but it is also open to those who are just interested in learning about First Baptist Church at Savoy. The class discusses what we believe, how our constitution is set up, what is involved in making this ministry function, and what we value as a community of believers. Discover First Baptist is also a wonderful time of fellowship and getting acquainted with other church attendees who have the same interest in FBC.

Recycle Your Old Electronics
24/7 Youth Ministries Fundraiser
We are collecting old electronics that you aren't using anymore in order to raise funds for future youth mission trips. Even with the economy the way it is, we want to still advance the youth ministry at FBC by helping youth go on these life changing trips! Honduras Mission Trip 2009

September 11, 2009 marked 145 years of ministry for First Baptist Church. Our location has changed, the people who are First Baptist Church has changed, yet we continue to be a bright spot in the community that shines around the globe.
Electronic Giving is Available at FBC
Simplify your life. Instead of writing a check each Sunday, you authorize the church to request a pre-determined amount to be transfered from your account. This transfer will happen on a pre-set date each month. The amount of money you authorize is moved electronically from your account to First Baptist Church’s account. Your privacy is secure! FBC will NOT have access to your account balance or account transaction information. Kid's Connection needs YOU
Joann Logsdon is looking forward to dividing preschool and early elementary kids in Children's Church (Kids Connection) for better teaching and learning. We would like to offer worship time for older elementary kids very soon. We need leaders to be able to do this. If interested, please contact the church office.
