Winter Xtreme this year was a great experience! Unfortunately we didn’t have much snow, but fortunately we picked a good year to win the broomball championship!

Even without much snow, we had tons of fun with broomball, card games, worship time, small groups and late night indoor ball hockey. Our speaker this year was Josh Koskinen and he challenged us to “Abide” in Christ. He used the story of Ruth and it was amazing how he challenged us in our lives. Be sure not to miss next year’s WinterXtreme!

This year at Winter Xtreme we had a weekend of spiritual awakening and growth. One of our girls trusted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and she understood the Lord’s great love for her. We celebrated Big Time as she told us in the Saturday night small group session! Others who felt distant from the Lord came back to the Lord and some who have slowly lost passion and love for Christ over the year rekindled their love and commitment to Him!

Bill Allison was our speaker again this year and we loved hearing from the Lord through him! The theme was “Rooted.” Many of us accepted Bill’s 21 day challenge to read through the gospel of John. Others from both our middle school and high school youth who didn’t go on that trip are also reading through the gospel of John. Some even got others at their school to read through it together. How awesome! Thanks to everyone who have given scholarships for some to go on the trip!
