First Baptist Church, and the American Baptist Churches in general, have always been characterized as a people of mission. Mission is our reason for existence. Central to our calling to do mission is Jesus' promise in Acts 1:8: "But the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you power. Then you will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world."
  • Special Missions

These "Special Missions" are projects that are actively supported by our church members/attenders who believe in these missions and offer their time and monetary support on a regular basis.

  • Honduras Children's Home
