Ask Seek Knock —Pam/Rich Geiger, Teachers
You are invited to join the Ask, Seek, Knock class during the Sunday school hour as we watch and discuss the video series The 10 Greatest Struggles of Your Life. Rev. Colin Smith's focus is that God gave us the Ten Commandments not as rules to frustrate us, but rather as guidance for the struggles we all have. We will consider our struggles with worship, time, integrity, peace and others. A study guide is available but not absolutely necessary.
Fellowship — Craig Donoho, Teacher
We are currently studying the Book of Proverbs. Every relationship in life is mentioned in this book of the Bible. The Book of Proverbs gives us practical insights and guidelines for life.
Our class is geared toward the younger to middle-aged couples. We focus on fellowship inside as well as outside the church.
Gospel of Matthew — John Elder, Teacher
Our class zeroes in on a verse-by-verse study of God's Word and the application of it to our lives. The teaching approach is digging deep into God's Word coupled with lecture, group discussion and life application.
Currently we are studying the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew links us up with the Old Testament. On every page Matthew is trying to connect the Gospel with the prophets and show that all of their teaching is being fulfilled in the person and kingdom of Jesus.
Harmony — Rose Marie Dunn, Teacher
We are studying a new series of studies in the books of Genesis and Exodus and discussing the topics of obedience, trust and responsibility.
Our class is composed of the Senior Saints of our church who love each other, love God, and love the study of His Word.
Kintuadi —Pastor Dick Smith, Teacher
We are currently studying the book of 1 Samuel. This is a book about people who started well but failed to finish well—why? What happened? What can we learn from them to prevent us from falling short of how God wants us to live? Join us in this exciting study!
Our class is a mixed group from young people to adults and grandparents. Anyone is welcome to join!
Married Couples — Stu/Cindy Smith, Teachers
Our class is designed for couples. Our curriculum is a video curriculum: The DNA of Relationships for Couples. Together you and your spouse will learn how to read the blueprint of your relationship, identify destructive habits, and use practical tools to begin the rebuilding process. We will learn from real-life experiences of couples grappling with problems ranging from balancing work and family, priorities, to extramarital affairs.
Prayer — Verne Carty, Facilitator
Room W103 (Prayer Room)
Our class is learning principles of praying and then we put these principles into practice each Sunday as we spend the majority praying in class for individual needs and our church's needs.
Our class is a mixture of all ages.
Regeneration — Joy Fuller, Teacher
We are currently studying the book of Daniel. How do you handle earth shaking tragedies in your life? Where is God? Is God in complete control of all things in this world today? Come and learn how Daniel and his friends answered these questions when they were taken to a foreign land to live. Come and see God at work and find your security in His sovereignty in the study of this great book.
Most members of our class have grown children and we share the position of being the "sandwich" generation. The teaching approach is lecture along with group discussion.
Trinity — Darla Wilson, Teacher
We are beginning a new series of studies on the topics of:
- Abraham – he struggled to believe but he responded to God's call to serve;
- Stewardship in the Desert/Wealth and Poverty – can we trust God to meet our needs;
- Prepare the Way – a series of studies for Advent and Christmas.
Our class is a mixed age group.
