10:45am Sanctuary Worship at FBC
The 10:45 am Sanctuary Worship at FBC is centered on the worship of God. Stirring Biblical teaching, dynamic music, compelling dramas, and real life stories facilitate this worship experience. The teaching is centered on the Bible and provides practical applications to today's living. With inspirational messages, you will be encouraged and challenged in your relationship with God, family and friends.
The style of the music is a blend of traditional hymns along with meaningful choruses and works from the great classical/sacred composers. The singing and worship leadership of the FBC Worship Choir, the use of strings, brass, and percussion instruments as needed, and the use of the 35-rank pipe organ all complement the musical style.
Occasionally, thought provoking dramas are presented. These skits apply the service theme to everyday life situations.
Many weeks you will hear, from the pulpit, an FBC attendee tell about how God is working in and through his or her life. These real life stories, called "Faith Stories," are presented as testimony to all that is being claimed and taught in the services. The Sanctuary Worship experience is not only intended to facilitate worship for you during the service time but also to inspire and prepare you in your daily worship throughout the coming week.
This service is attended by people of all ages. Some attendees dress in business attire; however, more casual attire, including jeans, is also quite common.
For your convenience, our nursery is available during all of our Sunday morning services and during the 9:30 Sunday School hour. For children from age 3 through first grade, we offer our Children's Church during our 10:45 worship services.
