Contemporary Worship at FBC
Our 8:15 and 10:45 am Contemporary Services uses an informal style of worship (led by a full worship team) that utilize drums, guitars, piano, and, other instruments. Choruses or new versions of hymns make this service spirited and fresh. This service shares the same real life stories as the traditional service to facilitate a worship experience.
The contemporary service is designed to offer worship in a relaxed atmosphere, praising God through music. The goal is to communicate the message in a way that is understandable regardless of religious upbringing.
Our nursery is available during all of our Sunday morning services and the Sunday School Hour. For children from age 3 through first grade, we offer our Children's Church during the 10:45 worship services.
A number of Worship Ministry Teams have been formed to provide support to the contemporary services. If you have had experience on worship teams, in bands, with vocals, playing instruments such as drummers, bass players, guitarists, pianists, please come and join us. We are also very interested in horn players such as trumpet, saxophone, or trombone players.
