Winter Xtreme 2008 was so much fun! We had an incredible time at Camp Timberlee in East Troy, Wisconsin. Camp Timberlee offers great winter activities as well as spiritual enrichment!
This year at the Middle School Winter Xtreme
we had a lot of snow and ice when we arrived. Friday night was cold as
usual, but on Saturday the temperatures rose and a lot of snow balls started
flying. It turned out to be great packing snow for snowballs! The theme
this year was "Unrefined." The speaker, Doug Holliday, taught on Daniel,
Shardrach, Meshach, and Abednego. The video clips and teaching were awesome!
Everyone seemed to have a ton of fun on the tube hills, tobaggon chute,
karaoke and the chapel times! The youth were already talking about
going next year. We're going to hold some spots for next year, so be sure to
sign up early next fall!
High School Winter Xtreme was held February 22 – 24

The High School WinterXtreme this year was great! We had one of our largest
High School groups on this retreat. It was a great weekend and we grew in
our friendships and spiritual lives! It's pretty cool to go tubing one
minute and then hold a giant snake in the science center a few minutes
later. The speaker and worship band were great as usual! We're already
looking forward to next year!
I would like to encourage all parents to help their youth go on trips like these so the Lord can speak to them at a time when they are open!
